On January 29th, 2019, Sheriff Hatcher, Sheriff Raymond, and Chief Hohenberg surprised four Youth of the Year candidates from our local Boys and Girls Club. The three law enforcement leaders agreed these teens needed to be “dressed for success” as the teens prepare to participate in regional and state Youth of the Year competitions. They joined forces today to make that happen. They met the teens at JCPenny’s to take them shopping. Sheriff Hatcher used funds from the Community Care Fund of the Benton County Sheriff Foundation to purchase business attire for one of the teens. Sheriff Raymond and Chief Hohenberg sponsored the other teens and used funds from their respective Community Care Funds. Sheriff Hatcher was honored to support these teens who truly live by the program’s priority outcomes of academic success, good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
